In this course, you will learn the art of meditation and our energetic centres called Chakras. Each week, we will delve deeper into one of the seven chakras.

This course will cover the theory, philosophy and practice of meditation. By the end of this course, you will have a deeper understanding of the purpose and practice of meditation and chakras. You will have the confidence to have a regular self-practice.

    Essential Principles and Results of Mindfulness
    Standing, sitting, walking and lying down Meditation
  • Meditation Techniques:
    Vipassana – this meditation helps us achieve insight about ourselves and others
    Shamatha – this meditation helps us achieve peace through mantras and other means
    Metta – this loving-kindness meditation helps us to be more compassionate
  • Klesas (roots of suffering) and how to overcome them through meditation
  • Energetic Centres called Chakras and how they affect our well-being
  • Dhyana (Yogic Meditation) and Samadhi (Blank State)
  • Purpose of meditation and chakras (Kundalini Awakening)

About the Teacher

Christopher is a well-travelled yogi from Melbourne, with background styles of Vinyasa, Raja, Hatha & Yin Yoga. Although an experienced yoga teacher, he considers himself always a student, constantly
developing a deeper understanding of what is Yoga. Christopher feels a purpose to help simplify the
teachings of yoga so that the ordinary man and woman can attain and archive great benefits from
the practice. You will find his class strong, archiving firm foundation, excelling breath control, and the total
balance of mind & body.
